The Gap Walk, Nire Valley
Follow an ancient pass through the Comeragh Mountains on this 6km linear trail, marked with green waymarkers. Known as “Beárna Bhéil a’ Bhealaigh,” The Gap offers breathtaking panoramic views across five counties on clear days. A moderate upland walk steeped in history and scenic beauty. The Sgilloges Walk, Nire Valley

Glenpatrick Bridge Walk, Rathgormack
This 8km moderate loop explores forest paths and green tracks beneath the slopes of Knockanaffrin Ridge. The return route follows part of the old Clonmel to Kilmeaden military road—built after the 1798 Rebellion—offering walkers a scenic journey through history and nature. Trailhead: Glenpatrick Bridge Picnic Area, near Rathgormack.
